List of India's cheapest airlines per flight route

Over the last few weeks we compared prices between all the airlines flying between Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai; and it's time to expose which airlines are offering the cheapest flight prices:

Cheapest airline award

Cheapest airline award goes to Spicejet, which in five of the six surveys provided the cheapest flight price.

Most expensive airlines

Kingfisher and Air India tie for being most frequently the most expensive airlines in our surveys.

Most frequently site problem

Kingfisher walks away with this prize - its site was down during two of the six surveys we carried out.

Most honest airlines

Jetlite and Jet Airways win the prize for the most honest airlines, for showing their flight prices including all taxes upfront.

Most expensive flight route

The most expensive of the 6 routes surveyed is Delhi to Chennai, which was the only flight route where the cheapest flight price was more than 2525 rupees (well done to Spicejet Airline for keeping the cost of flying this route to 3025 rupees).
